Tax Free

At Inercia uses the Taxfree service, that means that residents in a country outside the European Union, the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla have the right to claim back the VAT paid on their shopping when they spend more than 90.15€.

When you paid you’ll receive your Taxfree right away, whether you pay by cash or card. When you go through Customs, you should show your purchases together with your Taxfree receipt to the customs officers so that they can stamp it for you. After doing that you’ve to claim back at any of the payment points, usually located at the airports.

Remember if you want to claim back your VAT you’ve to:

- Be a resident in a country outside the European Union, the Canary islands, Ceuta or Melilla.

- Spend more than 90.15€

- Leave the European Union in the three following months if you want to have your taxfree receipt stamped and claim back your VAT.
