Depends. In principle, 3-wheel triskate skates are usually higher than 4-wheel skates, so the beginner skater will feel somewhat more unstable. But, if it is hard boot skates that support the ankle well, that instability can be controlled in a few sessions. In short, they are not the ideal skates to start with, but with a little patience, they can be worth it.
